On this Page, I will share with you a few Stories of things that went wrong for me, and Jesus turned those situations
into something Good for me. I hope you find Encouragement in reading them.
I have disappointments or upsets sometimes like everyone else, but these are Good Things Jesus did for me
when He stepped into some of those situations.
A Rude Encounter and How Things Worked Out
Some years ago, a guy came driving in front of me (towards me) as I was driving into a very small road that goes into a Carpark for Elderly People who live there. He was impatient to wait his turn, and kept coming towards me, making me Reverse all the way out and the back bumper bar on my new car got damaged. His wife got out of his car and came over to comfort me (poor lady, she has to live with him) he did not Care at all – totally Uncaring. He just drove away with her and left me to it. A few months later when a family member came to visit me, he said that guy’s Car got pushed accidently through a Pizza Shop Window and was damaged – but no-one got hurt, the shop was empty. Fortunately, his wife doesn’t drive that car.
Then a few months later I said “I wish my nice Car didn’t get dented”………… a few days later a Car hit the back of my Car in the traffic. The husband wouldn’t give me the details for me to claim on his Insurance, but his wife told him off
(got angry with him) and she gave me the details. And a week later, the bumper Bar was replaced by a Top Notch Repair Company. So that took care of the Dent the first Guy made to my Car, didn’t it? And I drove away from the Repairers with my Car like New. God bless those women, they were really Nice – so Caring – and God Almighty was too. How is that for a Story?
Note: Some people get very angry and vengefully wish something really bad on someone. They say they believe in Karma. But I know someone who believes in a Trusting in God Karma – leaving things with God. It’s often said here in Australia that “What goes around comes around” and do you know Jesus said “What you Sow, you shall also Reap?” He actually said those Words in relation to “Treating others as You Wish to be Treated” So maybe it’s Very Wise to Always Practice that, hey? And He also says that He will take Care of our needs.
Another Car I Had – Different Story
Years ago I had a different Car worth $6,000AUD it was an Astra 5 door hatch back. One day I was driving along a Main Road when a young man was driving inattentively and he swung out in front of me to take a right hand turn to his work place. My car went full pelt into a Tree on the corner of his work premises where he was employed. The front of my vehicle was a write off and he could not afford to get his car repaired. His dad agreed to meet with him together. His son countered $3,000 into my hand. His dad explained it’s all he had to pay me – his savings! I said “Oh really?” His dad said “That’s alright, this will teach him to drive more responsibly.”
That wasn’t enough to buy another Car, especially a 5 door model. Just after that, someone I never converse with usually invited me into their house for a visit. And they said even though I didn’t have Comprehensive Insurance to replace the Car, if I went to a certain Insurance Company quickly (within a certain number of days after the incident) they would cover me with Third Party for Injury AND loss of Work or Profit. It just so happened that I had a minor Rotary Cuff Injury that made it pretty much impossible to make small Presentations with Essential Oil Fragrances I had made up ready to sell – before the Collision. It was a venture I was about to commence. The Insurance Company very generously made a Payout of over $50,000 that came into my bank account in time to buy my Son a really good birthday present. It is important to mention I did not have Comprehensive Insurance at the time. Expenses were also paid for me to attend 5 appointments with an Expert Physio Therapist that restored the use of my Rotary Cuff, the MD/GP wanted me to have operated on. I felt to decline and chose Physio instead. Prior to that, I had never been to a Physio Clinic before – it was a leading Jesus gave me.
I met a girl in her 20s once who said she had 18 Corrective Surgery Operations on her shoulder.
An astonishing number I realise. I said “You can’t be serious. Really!?” and she quietly replied “Yes really”
I’ve never heard of such a thing before.
Thank God I opted for Physio!
Back when I had the Collision, police came and ordered an ambulance to take me to the Hospital to be Checked Out and just as I was walking towards the ambulance door, I said to Jesus “But You wouldn’t let this happen to me, yet here I am?” Just then, as I stepped into the doorway of the Ambulance, an Awareness that “This is going to work together for Good” came to me, meaning that Jesus is going to change the Situation to something Good. The realisation leapt inside of me (so to speak, and I had a Joy in my spirit and it accompanied me on the way to the Hospital) and I was conversing cheerfully in the Waiting area while waiting. It made people happier. The realisation the Spirit of God gave me in the ambulance was of-course, the $50,000 plus He knew would be coming to me weeks later. The Physio Payments were covered first.
There is a Verse in the Bible that says “All things work together for Good to those who Love God and are called to His purpose” (Him turning situations around in His Goodness as we really Trust in Him) Christians have different favorite Verses (referred to as Scriptures) they especially believe in and/or are very meaningful to them; some they Live by. Previously I have met Christians who really Live by this Verse. Since that time this has became a favourite Verse of mine. One I live by often.
A Cancelled Holiday and An Unexpected Kindness
A family Member and myself have a 2 Hour Car Trip Holiday for 4 days twice a year, I save up for to stay in a Favorite Beach Town. We missed our last holiday – things didn’t work out in time. This year my Loved One had a serious unexpected diagnosis right at the time our Holiday was due. This one was to be a Birthday Gift from me. We had to miss this Holiday.
When I phoned to say we could not come, and why…….the lady at the New Park (for us) we were looking forward to being there said “When would you like to come Janet? If you give me a different date, I will change it for you and you can come later when your Loved One is well” Her heart was so moved when I explained why we could not come, she had Compassion for us and was Very Caring, she even gave me a heartfelt message for my Family Member.
Usually you have to forfeit the money you paid Parks (lose it) and she made an Exception for us. Because I had to Cancel the Holiday late instead of several weeks early, the Park will lose the Money instead of us and we will still Enjoy our Holiday later. And she let me give her a Date for when the Rates would be Higher at the Previous Holiday Park we have been going to 4x over the last 2 years. In fact, the Manager was Grumpy (annoyed at me) for Cancelling a Holiday there a few months ago with 5-6 weeks notice (before that) because one of their Staff made a serious mistake and booked 3 Holidays instead of 1 – she phoned me and said I had to pay $760.00 after I had already Paid $380.00 for a Holiday in advance.
He said I would have to lose the $40.00 for the Admin Fee, I refused to let them keep it because they made a mistake – not me – and he got very grumpy and said I could keep it. But this lady who is in charge of the New Park and has never met me before was really lovely and Offered me to Keep our Holiday for a later date when my Family Member is well to Enjoy it. How Good is that?
Holiday Parks never do that at last minute Notice because they would lose Money that way. But that’s exactly what the Manageress at the New Park Offered me, and she was Happy to do that – not grumpy. Two Members of her Staff are Nice Women also. We are looking forward to going there. The Staff have been Nice at the other Park too – we had some really Good Holidays there but their Rates went up this year. They can’t help that because a Big Company runs their Park and lots of other Parks now. This New Park has reasonable Rates and we are happy to go there instead for our Holidays. This was very Encouraging News for my Family Member as you can imagine, and for me also.
A Real Disappointment and How Things Eventuated
There was a time many years ago when I experienced a Medical Induced Disorder (that’s when something goes very wrong and the MD/GP is responsible for that, they made a mistake or medical negligence is involved)
At that time, I was learning Typing and Shorthand at a TAFE College for students in their 20s – 60s.
Our Tutor was really Fun to Learn from and I had really good grades for the very first time ever in my life.
I was pleasantly surprised to hear her tell me “You are an A-Class Student. Janet, your work is Good. I am very happy with it”
I was delighted as you can imagine?
She also told the Class Students there were Vacancies for Work Positions at a local Hospital the following year. A few Specialists wanted to employ a few Students who were Very Good at Shorthand, and the Well Paid Part-Time hours sounded ideal for me.
When I was hit with the distressing Symptoms of OCD all a sudden and they would not go away, I had to Cancel my Class Lessons AND my Rental Arrangements (where I lived) and I had just paid for new carpet throughout the house I was renting from the Government for reasonable rates. The Teacher expressed her disappointment for me – she was very Caring.
I went to live with my Mother, I was so disturbed. Sometime later, Jesus gave me a wonderful Gifting at Natural Health Research. And when I was engaged in that at home, my health started improving remarkably – about 80% at the time, it was So Interesting – the more I was absorbed in the Wonderful Discoveries I was making, the more my health improved. At that time, I was also able to help a lady with Lymphatic Leukaemia and a different lady who had Pernicious Anemia and Rheumatic Arthritis. She also had a serious Germ that would not leave her body from an overseas holiday, the Medicos could not help her with (nothing they did worked)
I felt instinctively, to inform them (not treat them) about a few Therapeutic Herbs they could take medicinally and accessed these Extracts for them. Then I said to pray to Jesus to make them work quickly and effectively. They were both Christian Women and were happy to do that. Some weeks later when we met again, they told me with great Joy in their hearts: when they went back to their Hospitals for their next Blood Test and Check-up, the medical Staff told them their Test Results had changed dramatically, and whatever they were taking, to “Keep on taking it!”
As you can see, I was doing something far better than working for a Medical Specialist – I was helping people myself sometimes, how to get better Naturally. I have been engaged in Independent Natural Health Research 30+ Years now and some Professional Natural Health Workers (various practitioners) acknowledged and like my work. At a later date (12 Years ago) I have been running a Natural Health Website HERE and have commenced a later one a few years ago HERE. I also place Natural Health Articles also on an Australian Blog – Health and Inspirational – I run HERE. So Jesus has been Good to help me help others with different Health Issues and Improve their Health. My Mum asked me to research Dates and Oats for her, to her delight, and I have published an informative Article many people are clicking on HERE.
Life can be hard sometimes hey? But God is Good!
Someone Who Worked For Me and Unexplained Abscense
There was someone really Nice who did Freelance Work for me in 2023. A Digital Graphic Artist. We worked very closely together – we had a mutual fondness and respect for each-other and plans for the coming year, when she went out of sight. I didn’t know what the reason for her abscense was, she didn’t show up again. That is except for one very short email a month later saying she didn’t know how to contact me, and she had been blocked by an Agency she worked through. Then again, absolutely no contact again.
Eventually, 4 Months later, I felt drawn to someone else in a totally unrelated Country 48-72 Hours after saying to Jesus “I have to know how she is……is she alright? Will You show me?” Just before that, I had even contacted the Agency and asked them why did they block her? Speaking words in her defence, I said what a Wonderful and Capable Worker she is and if they check her Reviews, they won’t find Anything against her.
They said her Account is clear and there is no suspension and let me know they would ask her to contact me. They also let me know there could have been a technical error months ago.
Honestly, I don’t know her reasons for not contacting me because I did send a few more eCards like the one she replied to.
Well guess who the Worker I was drawn to is? A very close Friend of hers who let me know she is Very Busy with her little Kids. I have absolutely no doubt concerning the words she said in her reply to the eCard. I believe there was some Tech Glitch and she thought she was blocked. And the other Worker is her CEO who has instructed her to contact me.
The CEO has also offered for his team to do the same nature of Specialised Work for similar rates to hers for me and is also gracious and Friendly. I had no idea of their connection but Jesus heard what I prayed. She said in the Email, she hopes it gets to me. Why could she not simply let me know later, she is taking extended leave from work like he told me? This was totally baffling because she was genuinely Very Fond of me. How Good Jesus is – there is No-One like Him!
