There is so much Negativity in this World, I think People Need some Encouragement. I plan to place other Testimonies on this Website (big and small) good Genuine Stories of things Jesus did for me. Far too many push religions – many have tried to impose them on me through the years.
Two weeks ago, I had an uncomfortable experience with a Worker in a Hospital Emergency department. He was on Guard duty observing a patient and I simply handed him a Card for a Website I run with lots of Videos of Cute Birds and Animals for something nice to do when he is
off-duty. I had given a few out to Nursing Staff when visiting a Family Member. They were quite excited or delighted because the nature of their Work is pretty serious.
The minute I handed the Card to him, he immediately handed a Leaflet to me. I recognised it as a “Revivalist” religious promotion and I replied he should keep it because I believe in Jesus. But that wasn’t good enough for him: he latched on to me (verbally speaking) and said I had to believe his way (in no uncertain terms) pelting out Bible Verses to prove his argument. I did not want to engage, and he just kept asking me questions, countering what little I said, and he just wouldn’t Stop. Then I literally made a dash for it and said “I have to Go!” and escaped his persistent Religious bombardment.
Just to think that Guy was “pushing Religion down my throat” is so Unhealthy and he would not Stop!
He is one of those FAKE Christians from a Revivalist Centre. I had to shut him up for the peace of patients who were nearby.
He was out of Control. That is Not the Spirit of God in him. I have met people like that before.
I am a TRUE Christian and I Never Push my Faith on Anyone. Jesus is perfectly Capable of making Himself Known to Anyone. I have Proof of that at the Age of 12, before a Catholic Aunty Tricked me into Religion, then I lost the Presence of God. But Jesus came into my Life again at the Age of 20, just like He did at the Age of 12. So I don’t let any Religious Freaky person we have here in Australia Push me into Anything. They don’t have any chance of doing that because my Personal Faith is REAL. I LIVE what I Believe, and I dislike Hypocrites who have nothing better to do than go around upsetting everyone. People Feel Safe with me – I like to keep things that way.
In recent years, I have encountered several people with similar behavior from different Religions who have nothing better to do than try to entangle you in Unhealthy Mindsets they are entrenched in – due to brainwashing they have been subjected to on a weekly or daily basis –
they are “Only Way” orientated and it just has to be “Their Way” or else!
Have you ever encountered anyone like that? It’s very unpleasant – even for a Believer – they target you and hit you with a “Hard Sell”……….
Mind you, some choose a much more Subtle Approach to Lure you in.
Now I’m older and like to conserve my energy, it annoys me and I could simply say “Show me the Proof. I have a life filled with Evidence, you’re wasting your time!” so they have nothing more to say because they can’t compete with that.
Honestly, it is so draining when they don’t Stop. So I get impatient these days and say “Stop it Now, I’m not interested!”
I do feel sorry for those people sometimes but I don’t get involved. If that’s the way they want to live, ok…..but not me!!!
I am so sorry for their Kids because they have No Choice in how their parents bring them up.
My previous PC Techy phoned me recently – he has a damaging religious background as a child, he is in his 50’s now and knows he is Safe with Me.
He says he was brought up in the Mormon Religion and mentioned “Imaginary Friends”…….it was insulting to his intelligence. Everything they have told me is Very Fanciful, so I can imagine his frustration with that kind of thing. Very Unstable.
We agree together on some things and he has lots of laughs with me. He is a really Cool Guy and Brilliant with his Work: he is self-taught, gifted and regularly attends Tech Conferences. He is a really Likable Guy.
Some Advice for your Protection:
There are a lot of Mind Control religions to be Very Careful of. Mormon is one of them and JWs (Jehovah’s Witnesses) is Worse. They teach you and your Kids that “Everyone” except JWs are “of the Devil” and a lot of Heavy Scary Stuff that makes a lot of their People Mentally ILL and it is Forbidden for them to seek Professional Help. Note: It is actually their Religion.
As most people are aware, Muslim is another Mind-Control religion. They are Not Allowed to know if they can go to Heaven (their entire lives) and they live with the Anxiety of that because it’s Strictly forbidden (Mohammed said so) But they are told that if they Convert someone to be Muslim, they get lot’s of Points for that and a relative will go to Heaven. A lady who left it once said she did not want to be held Hostage to Fear she would get Hell-Fire if she makes Allah Angry, her Entire Life. She felt so Free and Well when she found Jesus and left the Domination of that. The Message (a Christian Cult that follow a Self-Acclaimed False Prophet called William Branham) is by far, one of the Worst Cults on planet Earth. I have relatives in that – those people are So Unstable, their Kids often grow up Very Damaged. My Niece became so Fragmented by it – emotionally disturbed until her 50s and the other Niece became an Atheist to get away from it. She never, ever saw her Family again!
Like JWs, Christadelphians do not believe in a Heaven, they believe that Good and Evil come from God but His Word says that “God is Holy” and “God is Love”…. and they will Ban You from having Any Friendships or Company of Any Kind with People who are not of their Religion. People who break free from them often become Atheists in a desperate effort to Heal their Mind from the domination they have Endured. Brethren are another Christian Cult who are into Exclusivity and Entice you to even disown your Family Members to “Obey God” (them of-course) They actually encourage you to think Everything is of the Devil except for Jargon they Brainwash you with. They’re into Condemning Sinners a Lot, which is also Unhealthy. They are even known for taking over your Finances when you die, and often when you are alive. That’s really bad. Pentecostalism focusses a Lot of Attention on Preachers rather than Jesus, which is Very Risky and Unhealthy because many of their Movements have really Unstable Teachings that can be destructive, like Domination and Extremism. Please don’t get mixed up with Pentecostal Churches of any kind because a very Unstable Element is woven through many of them and increasingly Affecting more of them.
